How we advise
We start from the hair, not from the shelf.
Your hair
Thickness and texture decide whether care may be light or rich.
Your wish
Strength, moisture, fullness or calm: every collection is made for one concern.
Your scalp
It decides what we add, and when we would rather see you in person.
The recommendation follows what Aveda made each collection for. Thick or curly hair: we choose the richer version. Lightened hair: we add a purple toning shampoo.
An online consultation cannot see your hair. If your scalp is sensitive or hair suddenly falls out, we say so honestly and invite you to the salon.

How accurate is the recommendation?
It is based on your answers and on Aveda’s own indications of which hair each collection is made for. It does not replace a professional look at hair and scalp in the salon, but in most cases it points in the right direction.
Do I have to buy the whole ritual?
No. Uncheck what you already have, or order only shampoo and conditioner. Every product is available individually.
What if my scalp is sensitive?
Then we would rather advise you in person. In the salon we look at the scalp before recommending anything.
Are my answers stored?
No. The consultation runs in your browser, your answers are not sent to us.
